Black Vernissage Tomato - 75 days - An extremely rich and tasty variety that can be used for fresh eating, salads, drying or making sauces. IT is a variegated tomato with lovely red, green, and black markings. Small in size, about golf ball size, they have a sweet slightly smokey flavor. Don’t forget to check out the others in the same family from the Ukraine, Vernissage Pink and Vernissage Yellow. ![]() If the right conditions are present, this plant can grow to be about 4 to 8 feet tall and produce a lot of tomatoes. The green, red, and black color of this plant are what make it so special. Everyone will be talking about this one and it is always one of the highlights of my garden. The Black Vernissage tomato is a stunning heirloom tomato that thrives in this variety. I suppose the cooler nights really brought out the best of this tomato.
